Dr. Amy completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Duke University and received specialized training in learning disabilities and early childhood mental health and development at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Amy is one of the independent practitioners at The Center for Behavior and Learning (CBL). She provides comprehensive learning evaluations for students in preschool through 12th grade.
Dr. Amy also has 30 years of experience in the field of education. Dr. Amy is a former K-12 classroom teacher with a master’s degree in education from the University of Virginia. She is a certified dyslexia tutor and a CERI-Certified Dyslexia Interventionist. Dr. Amy is also a former education policy researcher at Duke University.
Dr. Amy has combined her clinical expertise with her passion for education. Since joining CBL in 2013, her clinical practice has been committed to evaluating, diagnosing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular focus on Dyslexia and ADHD. Evaluations also include assessment related to anxiety, mood, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral concerns.
Dr. Amy enjoys working with gifted and twice-exceptional children presenting with both intellectual giftedness and learning disorders such as dyslexia.
In her free time, Dr. Amy spends time with her husband and three boys on the lake or downhill skiing. Otherwise, you will find her reading a good book in her favorite chair by the fireplace.
Jenie Raether is a licensed school psychologist with a wide range of experiences in both clinical and school psychology including psychological assessment, counseling, academic and behavioral intervention, and educational consultation. Jenie Raether is a licensed school psychologist with a wide range of experiences in both clinical and school psychology including psychological assessment, counseling, academic and behavioral intervention, and educational consultation. Jenie has received training in culturally responsive assessment, assessment of learning disorders, ADHD, autism, and social and emotional disorders, and children’s mental health.
Jenie completed her Masters degree in clinical psychology at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology, and her Educational Specialist degree in school psychology at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.
At the Center for Behavior and Learning, Jenie enjoys working with children and families as a member of the assessment team. With over 10 years of experience working within the school system, she also provides academic consultation to families as they work with their child’s school. This support focuses on helping families to understand and utilize the information derived from the evaluation to ensure that their child receives the necessary resources to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally at school.
In her free time, Jenie enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two young children.

Jessica graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she received her bachelor's degree. She received her Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, and Educational Specialist certificate in School Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time at local breweries, playing trivia, and getting outside with her dog and her wife.

In her free time, Sue enjoys mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and adventuring with her husband and four children.
Stephanie is the administrative assistant, working behind the scenes to coordinate intake paperwork, scheduling, invoicing, and any questions that may come up during the evaluation process. She works to support families by providing important information when needed and making sure everything runs smoothly.
